Finn: I want to be the leader of the house. I'm already boss of 4 things.

Mom: What do you have to do to become the leader?

Finn: I have to be the boss of all the things. I'm boss of 4 things so just 7 left to go. Then you and Dad will be fired.

Mom: What is Emer the boss of?

Finn: She's a warrior and she's the boss of relaxing.

Mom: Are you going to take over being the boss of cooking and meals?

Finn: You can still do that.

Having a "ball" playing soccer in my league this fall on Thursday nights. Am fully equipped with cleats, shin guards, and uniform. Look at the form as I approach the goal!

Last swim of the season....early Sept

Ooops... forgot to post these from my last swim of the season with Michael at Grandma and Grandpa's pool. Might be awhile before we are outdoor swimming again.

Great Apple Taste Test

Inspired by our activity at school I decided to organize an apple taste test for my mom, dad, grandma Barb, and grandpa Terry today. My mom helped with the cutting but I got it all set up and even made a chart of everyone's preferences. Turns out Honey Crisp was a hit (no surprise there), Red Delicious did better than expected, and Granny Smith made everyone's mouth pucker. I'm already planning future taste tests for this influential group of foodies!!
