May Highlights

Here are my highlights from May:
1) Playing golf and hockey in the backyard. Am I more a Tiger Woods or a Wayne Gretzky?
2) Going to the park, especially with my neighbor friends the Hamiltons.
3) Being "in charge" of Emerson when she goes outside on her leash.
4) Road-tripping....good times. (See other post)
5) Meeting cousins Mikey and Joe at the zoo.
6) Having the Baron grandparents visit me from Texas.
7) Learning how to make pancakes and lemonade with my mommy.
8) Eating hot dogs my daddy cooked on the grill.
9) Wearing shorts and sandals - I forgot what nice weather does for the wardrobe!
10) Knowing summer is around the corner - absolutely priceless...

My first big road-trip

I went on my first big road-trip in May. I drove with my parents to Indiana to my daddy's cousin's wedding. I got to see lots of Baron relatives and met baby cousin Andrew from DC. He's very cute and I can tell we will be great buddies. I stayed in a hotel sleeping in a big bed with my mommy. I got some fancy new duds to wear to the wedding events. And boy did I dance up a storm at the wedding. Whatever cutting a rug means, well, I did that.

Thelma and Elvice

We had some sad news this year. In the fall my great-grandma Thelma Woodworth passed away and this spring my great-grandma Elvice Baron passed away. My parents tell me I was a lucky boy to have met two great-grandparents. I used to like to write them letters to tell them what I was doing. They seemed to think I was pretty cool. My grandparents David and Gail tell me they were great ladies. Here's to you Thelma and Elvice!!
