Hola Flor

Hola, Flor - a magical book about a plant growing in the garden.  Even better when read to you by an awesome 5 year-old.  Last night first my mom, then both my parents, got to hear me sound out and read my first book by myself.  I couldn't have been prouder of myself.  And then seem darn happy too!

Still Fall Here....

Hello All,
It's been fall here still.  We had snow one weekend when Mom and I went sledding.  Otherwise, it was brown grass all through December.

I had a fantastic winter break, 17 days off school to whoop it up!  Had playdates with Michael, Luke, Liam, Landen, Bjorn, Annie and Hayden.  Saw "Arthur Christmas" and "Puss in Boots."  Visited the candy store and the Baaken.  Saw a play with the grandparents. Hit the indoor park and Pump It Up.  And partied it up on New Year's Eve.  Got a Nintendo DS and lots of Legos for Christmas.

Tomorrow it's back to reality....oh well.  Happy 2012 everyone!!!

PS Uncle Kyle and Aunt Vera are going to have a baby any day now and I'll have a new cousin.
