Hello All,
Spring has come to Minneapolis. I've been taking Mom and Dad on a lot of walks around the lakes. Sometimes our friend Nicole or aunt Sheila come too. It's even warm enough for us to take our cat Emerson outside on her leash. I'm told this is unusual for a cat but she loves it.
I am pretty proud of myself these days. I've been sleeping 8 hours at night, taking the bottle really well now, and learned a few tricks. I've been told I have a smile worthy of a toothpaste commercial. I make a lot of nifty cooing sounds. If you show me your tongue I'll show you mine. I'm also learning how to use my arms and legs - it requires a lot of practice waving them around wildly. Believe me, there is a method to my madness.
I've been doing a trial run at daycare the last two days before my Mom starts back to work next week. It's so exciting there! There are a lot of kids I need to keep track of, some of whom even crawl. I hear my cousin Michael (he's two months older) already has a girlfriend at his daycare so I need to play catch up on that front.
This weekend Papa Terry and Grandma Barb are babysitting me for one night while Mom and Dad get away to celebrate their anniversary. I think I'll give them a run for their money!
